§ 05 — FAQ
01 How accurate is the data SkyPlotter delivers? +
Achievable accuracy is project-dependent and a function of flight altitude, ground control density, sensor selection, and site conditions. Standard captures pair RTK / PPK positioning with ground control point validation, with project-specific tolerances documented in the Statement of Work.
02 What deliverables do I receive? +
Georeferenced orthomosaics (GeoTIFF), digital terrain models, classified LiDAR point clouds (LAS / LAZ), contour outputs (DXF / SHP), thermal anomaly reports (PDF + GeoJSON), and volumetric reports (PDF / CSV) — formatted for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, and BIM workflows.
03 How long does a project take? +
Field capture typically completes in a single mobilization for sites that fit standard flight envelopes. Processing and deliverable timing is agreed in the Statement of Work for each project.
04 Do you operate in Germany and comply with EU regulations? +
Yes — EU operations are conducted under EU Regulation 2019/947 with EASA Open Category A1/A2/A3 authorizations, coordinated with the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt and the relevant Bundesland authority. Data handling is GDPR compliant.
05 What equipment do you use? +
SkyPlotter deploys enterprise multi-sensor UAS platforms equipped with photogrammetry cameras, LiDAR scanners, radiometric thermal payloads, and RTK / PPK positioning. Sensor selection is matched to the engineering question for each project.
